We Are All Monkeys: Emmanuel Adebayor, Samuel Eto’o, Neymar & More Take A Stand Against Racism [PHOTOS]

During a La Liga match last Sunday at Villareal’s El Madrigal stadium, a banana was thrown to Barcelona midfielder Dani Alves by a racist fan.

Dani Alves calmly picked the banana up, peeled it and ate it, and continuing with the game play.

This sparked an anti-racism campaign among his fellow footballers, who took a stand against it by posing with bananas.

Those involved included people like Alves’ countryman Neymar, Samuel Eto’o, Emmanuel Adebayor, David Luis, and Liverpool duo Coutinho and Luis Suarez.

The fan who threw the banana has been identified and banned from the El Madrigal stadium for life.
