Another terrorist group linked with Boko Haram discovered

Another suspected terrorist Islamic sect with link to the Boko Haram sect has been uncovered in Bida, Niger State.
Already, the state government has set up a two-man committee with the mandate to identify the sect members and flush them out of the state.

State governor, Dr. Babangida Aliyu, who made this known in Minna, the state capital yesterday, said the government had already set up a committee to investigate the activities of the suspects and report back to him within three days to enable government take an urgent step on the matter.

This was even as gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists attacked Kubla Village in Madagali Local Government area of Adamawa State killing eight people and burning two churches, among other private houses.
Some residents of the affected village who fled the area said that they were attacked by the terrorists on Monday night.
Some residents of the affected village who fled the area said that they were attacked by the terrorists on Monday night.

”I cannot actually say how many people were killed but I saw about six dead bodies being evacuated,” one of the residents who identified himself as Heldia Apogu said.
Another resident claimed that some houses were also attacked by the gunmen who took some men hostage.

”I saw some people crying saying that their relations had been taken hostage by the gunmen,” the resident who preferred anonymity said.

However, Aliyu said, “The state government is acting on security report given by the League of Imams in the state and this led to the setting up of the two man committee to investigate the report as a matter of urgency. “

The 27 year old medical student auctioning her virginity for $550,000(N80m) shows her face (PHOTOS)

A few months back, a story was published of this 27 year old virgin who is auctioning her virginity for $550,000 (N80 Million naira ) .The difference then was, she kept her identity hidden and said only the highest bidder will get to see her face.
Now, she has finally revealed her identity and she is stunning . The 27-year-old medical school student using the name “Elizabeth Raine” to protect her identity, has been running the online virginity auction since March 31 which ends May 7.
She told Huffington Post
“I actually didn’t like the anonymity. People mistake it for shame.Plus, there has been some speculation that I’d be outed and I wanted to do it on my own terms.”
The current top bid listed on her website is $300,000, but she said she’s received bids near $550,000 that she’s in the process of confirming.

....More below

She says her main purpose of the auction is to make money and also adventure, eroticism, scandal and the chance to challenge norms about virginity .
“I’ve been planning this for a year and I’ve had a personal transformation because of it.“I’m more educated about prostitution, virginity and slut-shaming.I am not emotionally damaged, broken or shut off as a result of it,”
The winning bidder will have to provide Raine with proof that he has no sexually transmitted diseases and is willing to wear a c*nd*m. He also may not be under the influence of booze or drugs during the encounter, nor may he attempt an*l s*x or treat her violently.

She's also open to kissing the winning bidder, and even holds out a small amount of hope that it might lead to something more.
“I wouldn’t rule out love, but it’s very unlikely,There will be a legal contract between us,” she said. “[The winner] may not be happy [with the s*x], but he knows what he’s paying for.”
Raine admits she does have a thing for older men and tall guys, but those factors probably won’t come into play for what is basically a business deal.

Clippers Fans Demand Owner Sterling Sells Team

Fans of the Los Angeles Clippers have demanded that disgraced owner Donald Sterling be forced to sell the team over his racist comment shame.
Civil rights groups joined Clippers fans before the team's home match last night to welcome the NBA's decision to ban Sterling for life.
The protest was staged to show that "Donald Sterling's comments do not represent Los Angeles and the millions of collective voices of minorities who call Los Angeles home".
There was widespread support for the call by the NBA administrator Adam Silver for Sterling to be forced to sell.

"He might be banned from the games, but he is sitting at home counting the money," said one fan.
The fury at Sterling's comments, in which he asked his then-girlfriend not to bring black people to games, has reached everywhere from the White House to rappers and sports stars, and even the Clippers' city rivals the LA Lakers.
Outside of the Clippers' Staples Center home, Michael Smith, a long-time Lakers fan who used to perform in half-time shows, held up a sign asking: "What about black people who have given their lives in the service of this country?"

He told Sky News: "Obviously he was ranting, but what is bad is that he didn't make any distinction. There are good and bad people of all colours. We have black police officers in this city, good people."
Another fan was more blunt: "Why aren't the Clippers players out here protesting with us? They are the ones he's insulting as well."
Joe Crew arrived for the Clippers game with a black shirt and team jersey inside out.
He told Sky News: "I felt a hundred different emotions when I heard that recording. Did they do the right thing in banning him? You bet. 100%."
Basketball chiefs have said they will attempt to force him to sell the team but Sterling, who is the longest standing owner in the sport, has reportedly told friends that the Clippers are "not for sale".
Potential buyers for the Clippers, who are valued at $575m, include basketball legend Magic Johnson and entertainment mogul David Geffen. Both have expressed their interest.
Throughout the day the Clippers website featured a black page and the message: "We are one".
Former NBA star Kevin Johnson, now of the mayor of California's capital city Sacramento, said: "I believe that today stands as one of those great moments where sports once again transcends, where sports provides a place for fundamental change on how our country should think and act."

A Chinese Kiss A Pig To Encourage Students Not To Drop Litter Outside There School

Teacher kisses pig
Mr Hong was unable to borrow a piglet so had to settle for a pig
A Chinese schoolteacher has delighted his students by kissing a pig to thank them for not dropping litter outside their school.
Rather than punish them, 47-year-old assistant principle Hong Yaoming chose to motivate them, by promising to kiss a piglet if they did what they were told.
Within a month the students had cleaned-up all the rubbish outside the school in Xianning City and Mr Hong had no option but to fulfil his promise.

But he was unable to borrow a piglet for the day and had to settle for a fully-grown pig instead.
A 19-second video of him kissing the swine in front of giggling students has gone viral on Chinese social-media site Weibo.
"Instead of a regular-sized piglet weighing less than 5kg (11 lbs), the pig I got was about 20 kg (44 lbs)," Mr Hong said.

His students reacted with delight
Mr Hong said he had heard about a similar case in the United States where a school teacher promised to kiss a pig if his pupils did well in their maths exams.
"I was stressed by the bet. I couldn't imagine how horrible it would be if the pig bit me when I kissed it," he said.
Mr Hong was not bitten by the pig.

Rihanna Continues Her Winning No-Bra Streak, No One Is Mad

Rihanna attended the Raptors-Nets game over the weekend, though her bra did not.
You can always remember to forget your bra.
Rihanna may be “bad” at wearing all of the usual top layers of an outfit, but she’s also perfectly good at it, you know? Like on Friday night, when she hit up the Toronto Raptors’ game against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center.
Let’s see, we’ve got the “Can’t Remember To Forget You” singer sitting courtside, BFF Melissa Forde, a man we’re gonna call Bartholomew Q. Kneeflowers, the latest clutch from Illuminati Couture, a white tank top, but —OH LOOK! — no bra.
Check out these photos of Rihanna attending the Nets-Raptors game with BFF Melissa Forde.
Literally our face at anyone who might judge’s Rih’s flawless fashion choices.
Lest you think we’re being shady, we’re just going to stop you right there. We fully applaud Rihanna’s total no-dus bra-perandi when it comes to putting together her lewks. As she broke it down in the March 2014 issue of Vogue: “If I’m wearing a top, I don’t wear a bra… If I’m wearing a bra, I just wear a bra.” The 4/20 pasties are the exception that PROVES the rule.
Unless… Could Rihanna be all about that no-bra life for a purpose higher than looking flawlessly uninhibited? (Also, could there even be such a purpose?!) Like, what if it’s some sort of superstitious good-luck charm she whips out for her maybe-boyfriend Drake? He is the Raptors’ global ambassador forcourtside lint-rolling, after all.
Either way… Don’t stop now, Rih! The Raptors are on a hot streak. (Sorrles, Nets!)

Stop Using Internet Explorer Until Bug Fixed - US Homeland Security Agency

Microsoft hacked
The U.S. and UK governments on Monday advised computer users to consider using alternatives to Microsoft Corp’s Internet Explorer browser until the company fixes a security flaw that hackers used to launch attacks.
The Internet Explorer bug, disclosed over the weekend, is the first high-profile computer threat to emerge since Microsoft stopped providing security updates for Windows XP earlier this month. That means PCs running the 13-year-old operating system will remain unprotected, even after Microsoft releases updates to defend against it.
The Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team said in an advisory released on Monday that the vulnerability in versions 6 to 11 of Internet Explorer could lead to “the complete compromise” of an affected system.
The recently established UK National Computer Emergency Response Team issued similar advice to British computer users, saying that in addition to considering alternative browsers, they should make sure their antivirus software is current and regularly updated.
Versions 6 to 11 of Internet Explorer dominate desktop browsing, accounting for 55 percent of global market share, according to research firm NetMarketShare.
Boldizsár Bencsáth, assistant professor with Hungary’s Laboratory of Cryptography and Systems Security, said the best solution was to use another browser such as Google Inc’s Chrome or Mozilla’s Firefox.

Internet Explorer Hack – Delayed Upgrades

Security experts have long been warning Windows XP users to upgrade to Windows 7 or 8 before Microsoft stopped supporting it at the beginning of this month.
The threat that emerged over the weekend could be the wakeup call that prompts the estimated 15 to 25 percent of PC users who still use XP to dump those systems.
“Everybody should be moving off of it now. They should have done it months ago,” said Jeff Williams, director of security strategy with Dell SecureWorks.
Roger Kay, president of Endpoint Technologies, expects several hundred million people running Windows XP to dump those machines for other devices by the end of the year.
They will be looking at Windows machines as well as Apple Inc’s Macs and iPads along with Google’s Chrome laptops and Android tablets, he said.
“Not everybody will necessarily go to Windows, but Microsoft has a good chance at getting their business,” he said. “It’s got to be a good stimulus for the year.”
News of the vulnerability surfaced over the weekend. Cybersecurity software maker FireEye Inc warned that a sophisticated group of hackers have been exploiting the bug in a campaign dubbed “Operation Clandestine Fox.”

Delta bursary fraud whistleblower arrested in Lagos & taken to Delta state

According to a report by SR, Ambrose Ezewani, an ex student of the University of Lagos and former President of the National Association of Delta State students, UNILAG chapter, who blew the lid on a systematic student bursary racketing allegedly spearheaded by the Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta state, Mr Hope Eghagha has been handed over to the Delta state Government
Sahara Reporters reports..
Police officers in Sabo Station yesterday afternoon handed him over after the Delta State officials visited to ask for his transfer to Asaba, Delta State where he will be most likely tortured and “tried” for revealing the fraud perpetrated by officials of the state.
Ezeanwani was President of the National Association of Delta State Students Union at the University of Lagos. During his tenure, he revealed that the bursary system was fraught with fraud, which he said was being perpetrated by men in the scholarship board in Delta State. Continue...
Ezeawani alleged that the irregularities surfaced since the current Commissioner for Higher Education in the State, Mr. Hope Eghagha came on board. Mr. Eghagha a former professor at the University of lagos was a former newspaper columnist and critic of the Delta state government before bagging a government appointment a few years ago.

Ezeawani claims that  Eghagha’s office had created a system for students bursary application where non-existing students are awarded bursary by the state.

He said in his investigation, which the UNILAG students’ records office corroborated, the names published as “approved” for bursary awards every year where non-existent in the Institution’s official records.

Ezeawani further stated that his research  discovered that the office of the Commissioner for Higher Education in Delta State led by Eghagha had generated about 23,000 fake students and bank accounts and sorts codes throughout institutions across the country to siphon bursary funds while publishing fake names of beneficiaries in the print media every year.

Although few genuine names of students are mixed in the published bursary approval list every year, it is observed that most of the genuine students are shut out of the scheme while non-existing names are paraded.

Ambrose had led series of protest marches calling for investigations into the  scam, however,  the Economic and financial crimes Commission EFCC) to whom he directed his protests did nothing to investigate the fraud.

Last Wednesday on his way to Federal college of education (Technical) Akoka some men in mufti pulled up in front of him and attempted forcing him into their car. Ezeawani said he resisted and headed for the police station in Sabo instead. The men followed him and asked the police to hand him over but the police refused. The men apparently sent by the Delta state government then asked that Ezeawani be detained for them to go and prepare documents from Asaba to facilitate his hand over.
He has now been handed over yesterday to policemen from Asaba who are suspected to be doing the bidding of the Delta State officials.

I Can’t Accept A N500,000 Monthly Salary -via - Nairaland.com

I came across an interview that revealed a 22 year old Nigerian entrepreneur who stated clearly that if he is offered a job with a monthly take home of N500,000 as salary that he will not accept it!

His name is Muhammad Abdullahi Salisu, who emerged one of the top 10 leading entrepreneurs out of the 50 shortlisted small and medium enterprises owners in the 2014 edition of the Etisalat Easybusiness Millionaires Hunt, winning a whooping sum of N2m in the process.

In this interview, Salisu explained how studying Bio-Chemistry in the university and passion for providing solutions to the problem of waste management triggered his interest in the recycling business.

Let’s read the interview as culled from the Sunday Trust of April 27, 2014 Vol.8 No.46:

What informed your venture into waste recycling?

I studied Bio-Chemistry at the Ahmadu Bello Univeristy (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria and graduated this year. While in the university, we developed interest in the chemistry of waste materials – that is, the main recycling process.

After graduation, three of my friends – Sufiana Habeeb from Bauchi State, Idris Mansha and Ahmad Abdulkadir Koroso both from Kano State and I decided to source for funds and start a recycling business. We realized there are lots of opportunities in the business and decided to venture into it. In Kano State alone, there is waste of about 9000 metric tons already in the recycling process.

How long have you been in this business?

Our business is now 20 months old. Our medium-to-long term plan is to expand the business to industrial conversion of plastic waste to agricultural materials like plastic baskets for farmers. We also want to establish other to recycling centers – one in Azari, Bauchi State and the other in Zaria, Kaduna State.
We hope within the next 10 years to become one of the best waste management companies in the world.
How lucrative would you say the recycling business is?

The recycling business is very lucrative because the return on investment (ROI) is about 65 per cent. We were able to generate N2.5 million in the first year we started the business.

Now, even if I am offered a job that can fetch me N500,000 per month, I won’t accept it because I already have a stable business. Of course, I can’t leave this business for any white collar job.

How do you think the Etisalat training would impact on your business?

I am very happy participating in the Etisalat 2014 entrepreneurial training. I have gained a lot because I didn’t have this kind of training in school. Now, I have been equipped with the knowledge that can help our business grow.

In the course of the training, I have met with people who are in the same kind of business both in Lagos and beyond and we are looking at the possibility of partnering together. I have also been made to know other tools peculiar to the business which I didn’t know prior to this time.

What have been your challenges in the business?

The main challenge has been funds. But with the N2 million Etisalat gave me, we have some capital to ginger the business. I intend buying a recycling machinery that can be used continuously for two to three years. We will source raw materials locally within communities around us.

What is your advice to Nigerian youths, especially the undergraduates, on entrepreneurship?

My advice to fellow Nigerian youths is that they should start doing something meaningful on enterprise while in the university. For example, we developed our own idea while we were in the university. Students shouldn’t wait until they graduate before they can start doing something productive.

After finishing their degree programmes, they can start expanding their business ideas. There are lots of opportunities in the country and they should look into them and find where their ideas fit in to be self-employed, rather than forever look for jobs that aren’t just available.

About the Etisalat Easy Business Millionaire Hunt

“We at Etisalat believe that by helping to empower SMEs, the generation of more job opportunities can easily be achieved. It is important to us at Etisalat that we do a good job. But more than that, we aspire to see our customers also do a good job while using our services. We aim to help these companies grow just as we have grown over the last five years,” said Mr. Matthew Willsher, the acting Chief Executive Officer, Etisalat Nigeria.

In this year’s Etisalat Easy Business Millionaire Hunt, ten (10) entrepreneurs were adjudged to have exceptional business ideas with each winning N2m to help them actualise their plans as well as six months’ mentorship programme at the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan-Atlantic University to guide them.

The winners were: Abdulazeez Ibrahim, Oluwayomi Ojo, Idongesit Umoh, Muhammad Salisu Abdullahi, Nwachinemere Emeka, Eberenna Nwanjoku, Opeyemi Ajayi, Bosede Olanihun, Joseph Eze and Adesuwa Ojumola.

28-year-old father-of-two murders 3 gay men after s*x

Muhammed Ejaz, a Pakistani paramedic who murdered three gay men he met online after reportedly having s*x with them.
The  28-year-old father-of-two, was arrested last week and confessed to three brutal murders, saying he wanted to stop them from committing further evil and to spread a message that homos*xuality is bad, though police insist he had s*x with his victims first.

In an interview with AFP from his prison cell  Ejaz said..

'My way was wrong. It is tragic that the families have lost their relatives but they were spreading evil in society and I had to stop it.
I wanted to warn them to stay away from this evil.I started going on Manjam(Social networking site) two months ago using my mobile phone, and found that the gays are everywhere in Lahore, They are spreading evil and transmitting diseases. They cannot control themselves.I tried to convince them to stop their dirty acts, but they would not,” he said. “So I decided to kill them.

Ejaz said he was the victim of s*xual abuse by an older boy when he was around 10 and had led a deeply unhappy childhood. He insists he is not gay himself.
'I have hated them ever since for what happened to me.
The victims were a middle-aged retired army Major and two other men, both in their twenties. All three were found with their necks broken and had been sedated. After examining their mobile phone call logs, police were able to identify Ejaz's number and found another former lover whom they used to lure him to a meeting a week ago, where they arrested him.

The killings have sent fear through the underground gay community in the eastern city of Lahore, with concerns that Ejaz could be lionised as a hero in a conservative Islamic society where homos*xuality is stigmatised and sodomy is punishable by up to 10 years in jail.

Abducted Schoolgirls Ferried To Lake Chad Basin – Chibok Youth Leader

Some of the female students abducted from Government Girls’ Secondary School (GGSS), Chibok, Borno State, may have been ferried around Lake Chad basin by their abductors – suspected Boko Haram gunmen.

A Chibok youth leader, Dr Pogu Bitrus, who stated this during an interview with the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), said his assertion was based on a report that indicates the girls were divided into groups to make it impossible for security agencies tracking them to rescue all the students from one place.

He said, “We have a report that the sect might have divided the girls into different groups and separated them to make it impossible to get all the girls in one place.

“Since the girls were abducted from GGSS Chibok by the Boko Haram, we heard that the girls were separated. Some were detained in Sambisa Forest, some detained around Gwoza, Marte and Monguno axis.

“For almost two weeks the security forces left us in confusion regarding their glaring inability to rescue the schoolgirls and no information from the security that will calm the frustrated parents”.
The youth leader also berated the government for not doing everything possible to rescue the final-year students of GGSS Chibok, adding that even if the government is doing anything possible to rescue the girls, it is being kept under wraps.

According to him: “The search for the missing girls was then left in the hands of their hapless parents who rented 150 commercial motorcyclists, got some volunteers with cutlasses and bows and arrows and went into the forest determined to rescue their wards or die trying.

“In the end, even they were forced to abandon the search when a warning came from the terrorists that if they didn’t stop, they and their children would be killed”, he said.

When contacted, the spokesperson of the state JTF, Col. Muhammad Dole, said he was not authorized to comment on the matter and referred further inquiries to the Director of Defence Information, Maj-Gen Chris Olukolade.

The military had earlier said that it was satisfied with the pace of its operations against Boko Haram extremists to rescue the abducted schoolgirls in Borno State.

“The morale of the soldiers is high and we are expecting to see more successes from the troops,” Olukolade said.

We seek Nigerians’ understanding – Military

The Defence Headquarters yesterday called for understanding on the abducted girls as efforts are being made to secure their freedom.

According to the spokesman of the military, Major General Chris Olukolade, every information received is under consideration.

When LEADERSHIP contacted Olukolade over the movement of the girls, he said: “The concern and anxiety from all quarters is quite understandable. Please be assured that much as the forces may not disclose details of action being taken to secure the freedom of the girls, every information received on the subject is duly analysed and acted upon as necessary.

“No information is being ignored in the concerted efforts to ensure the safety and freedom of the abducted girls.

“Though I may not be able to disclose details of action being taken to secure the freedom of the girls, I can assure you that every information received on the subject is duly analysed and acted upon as necessary.”

RIRI Doesn't Send: Rihanna goes topless for French magazine, Lui

She actually posted all the pics on her instagram page a few minutes ago...and then deleted them a few minutes later. This is probably her most raunchy magazine cover yet. Check on the pics after the cut...

Actress Ronke Oshodi Oke Does not Stay with Her Husband

Yoruba actress Ronke Ojo popularly known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, has explained why she and her husband don't live together...despite the fact that they both live in Lagos. Ronke's husband, Anthony Gbolahan, who she married in January 2009, lives in Surulere, while Ronke lives in Ijaiye, Lagos. Explaining the arrangement, Ronke said the reason she doesn't live in Surulere with her husband is because the area is too populated.
She refuted reports that they live apart because their marriage is in trouble.

"If you have a partner or spouse who is your friend, you will understand each other very well. Fine, I am a reserved person and on the other hand I am also into showbiz. So for me to manage these things, you have to be in a reserved person. For instance when you are going out or coming in, nobody knows your movement. Secondly I am friendly but I don't really like crowd. My husband likes Surulere, he is a Surulere person. I like surburbs like Abule-Egba, Ijaiye area and so on. So both of us know how to manage the situation. Continue...

Whenever I say I am going to Surulere, I just go there to catch fun, see people and things I love to see. But the fact remains even if I am in Surulere, people don't really know I am there because I don't go out. I am not an outgoing person. Most of the events you see me, its either I am invited as a Master of Ceremony or the celebrant is my friend. Anytime I don't go out and I am not on set, I go to my husband's place in Surulere and he understands me very well. All these kidnappings here and there, one needs to be very careful. When they kidnap your child and they say they need ransom, what would you do? So we know how we manage the situation. He also comes to Ijaiye where I live. That's where my mum lives" she said.

When asked if her marriage was in trouble as being speculated, she responded;

"There is nothing wrong with my marriage. That's how people are just feeling. Recently City People magazine celebrated me. I received an award. My husband was there with me. So if there was anything wrong with our union, would he be there? Things like that you can't hide them from the public. I just believe people only like fabricating issues for whatever reason or reasons best known to them" she said

12 Little Known Laws Of Karma (that Will Change Your Life). via Nairaland

What is Karma? Karma is the Sanskrit word for action. It is equivalent to Newton's law of ‘every action must have a reaction’. When we think, speak or act we initiate a force that will react accordingly. This returning force maybe modified, changed or suspended, but most people will not be able eradicate it.

12 Little Known Laws of Karma (That Will Change Your Life)This law of cause and effect is not punishment, but is wholly for the sake of education or learning.

A person may not escape the consequences of his actions, but he will suffer only if he himself has made the conditions ripe for his suffering. Ignorance of the law is no excuse whether the laws are man-made or universal.

To stop being afraid and to start being empowered in the worlds of karma and reincarnation, here is what you need to know about karmic laws.

1. THE GREAT LAW
- "As you sow, so shall you reap". This is also known as the "Law of Cause and Effect".
- Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us.
- If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Love, Friendship... Then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving and a True Friend.

2. THE LAW OF CREATION
- Life doesn't just HAPPEN, it requires our participation.
- We are one with the Universe, both inside and out.
- Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state.
- BE yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have present in your Life.

3. THE LAW OF HUMILITY
- What you refuse to accept, will continue for you.
- If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative, then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence.

4. THE LAW OF GROWTH
- "Wherever you go, there you are".
- For us to GROW in Spirit, it is we who must change - and not the people, places or things around us.
- The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES and that is the only factor we have control over.
- When we change who and what we are within our heart our life follows suit and changes too.

5. THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Whenever there is something wrong in my life, there is something wrong in me.
- We mirror what surrounds us - and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth.
- We must take responsibility what is in our life.

6. THE LAW OF CONNECTION
- Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected.
- Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on.
- Someone must do the initial work to get a job done.
- Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance,
- As they were both needed to accomplish the task.
- Past-Present-Future they are all connected...

7. THE LAW OF FOCUS
- You can not think of two things at the same time.
- When our focus is on Spiritual Values, it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.

8. THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY
- If you believe something to be true, then sometime in your life you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth.
- Here is where we put what we CLAIM that we have learned, into actual PRACTICE.

9. THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW
- Looking backward to examine what was, prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW.
- Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams...
- Prevent us from having new ones.

10. THE LAW OF CHANGE
- History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path.

11. THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD
- All Rewards require initial toil.
- Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil.
- True joy follows doing what we're suppose to be doing, and waiting for the reward to come in on its own time.

12. THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION
- You get back from something whatever YOU have put into it.
- The true value of something is a direct result of the energy and intent that is put into it.
- Every personal contribution is also a contribution to the Whole.
- Lack luster contributions have no impact on the Whole, nor do they work to diminish it.
- Loving contributions bring life to, and inspire, the Whole.

Suarez wins Player of the Year award

Luis Suarez has been named the Professional Footballers' Association
Players' Player of the Year for 2013-14.

It marks an amazing turnaround for the 27-year-old, who almost a year to the
day was caught on camera biting the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav
Ivanovic and banned for 10 matches by the Football Association.

Despite missing the first four games of the Premier League season through
suspension, the Uruguay international is practically assured of winning the
Premier League Golden Boot after plundering 30 goals in 31 appearances, as
well as providing 12 assists for a Liverpool team which regularly blew the
opposition away with their pace and attacking football.

Suarez won the award ahead of Liverpool teammates Steven Gerrard and
Daniel Sturridge, Southampton's Adam Lallana, Chelsea's Eden Hazard and
also Yaya Toure of Manchester City.

Suarez travelled down to the ceremony at Grosvenor House in London after
the Reds' 2-0 defeat at home to Chelsea earlier in the day, which dented their
title hopes.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard, absent for the game at Anfield due to injury, was
named winner of the Young Player of the Year award.

Suarez said: "The Premier League is full of really great players and so it is a
great honour when these players recognise your work on the pitch. I always
try my best for the team and it is nice to get awards but really this is for my
team-mates and the staff at Liverpool because without their help I wouldn't
have this prize."

The South American has put behind him a troublesome year which saw him
agitating for a move in the summer, even at one stage claiming manager
Brendan Rodgers had reneged on a deal to allow him to leave for a
Champions League club. Rodgers' handling of the situation has been
impressive but the Reds boss insisted all of the credit should be with the
player.

"He is a brilliant talent. I think the supporters have seen him mature over the
course of the last season," Rodgers said of Suarez on Friday. "I think he was
in a real low moment after that game [against Chelsea last year] but he has
gone away and probably looked in the mirror and reflected on himself
because he is not that type of guy and it probably just spilled over.

"He is a really intelligent man who fits the values of this club, which is all
about humility, class and he has all of that. He is a sheer winner and that
probably overspilled last year but his development over the last year has
been remarkable both on and off the field and Liverpool have benefited from
that.

"For me he is the consistently outstanding player over the course of the last
year."

Former Spurs winger Gareth Bale, now at Real Madrid, won both young and
senior PFA awards in 2012-13. Suarez was also nominated for the senior
award last season.
