British Man Raped At The Annual Event In Germany While Urinating

British Man Raped At The Annual Event In Germany While Urinating
raped man 360nobsThe 24-year-old British tourist was urinating in bushes on Saturday night at the edge of the arena at the Oktoberfest beer festival in Munich when he was attacked.
According to Police in a statement, he was approached by a stranger, who made it clear he wanted to have sex with him
When the victim refused, his head was pulled back and he was dragged to the ground, where a second man held him down while he was raped. The two men fled after the incident at around 9.30pm and police are appealing for witnesses to help trace them.
There are more than 1,500 toilets at the festival and a kilometre of urinals but the numbers often prove insufficient for drinkers and many go to the outskirts of the Theresienwiese fields to relieve themselves.
German media reported that the victim was from Leeds but police did not give any further details.
Despite the attack and several other violent incidents at Oktoberfest, include an attempted rape of a woman, several other sexual assaults and brawls, police said crime is down so far compared to last year.

King Sunny Ade: ”Nigeria’s Music Industry Needs Surgery” - dasort

Sunny King Ade Live
King Sunny Ade, Juju music legend, recently clocked 68 and had a small reception for close family and friends in his palatial country home in Ondo, western Nigeria. In a recent interview, he talks about his life, music and state of the Nigerian music industry.
Q: How do you feel turning 68?
I feel great and I thank God for making me see another year. It gives me an awesome feeling that between my last birthday and now, I had no cause to visit hospital to complain of any ailment. Also the music has not stopped for a bit. I thank and appreciate Almighty God.
In spite of your busy schedule, you still look very fit
I have no choice than to be very fit. Performing on stage for hours back-to-back almost every day is an exercise on its own. Besides, in my home here, I have a swimming pool, squash court, basketball court and tennis court. I also play golf. We now have a golf course very close to us, in Idanre. The golf course in Akure has been taken over by the Army. All these keep me fit and trim.
Do you go on holiday at all?
I do ask for it but you people would not allow me to have one. But I am planning to have one soon.
What about medical check-up?
I normally go for medical check-up abroad twice in a year. But in the last one year I have not done that. But any time I feel funny, I always put a call to my doctor over there.
You will be 70 in two years. [We] learnt you are planning something grand to celebrate that landmark.
First and foremost, we need to commit our lives into God’s hands to spare us beyond that time. I am used to planning my things very well and always ensuring that everything is put in a right perspective. Definitely, I will celebrate when the time comes, but to tell you the plans now will not be appropriate.
How has it been since you moved to Ondo?
Let me correct that; I spend more time in Lagos than Ondo. My businesses and immediate family are in Lagos. What I told you last year was that I would be moving back home gradually. I plan to be spending more time in Ondo and this will be gradual.
Lately, you are being seen more with many of these new generation artistes. Are we expecting any major collaboration between you and some of them?
I cannot tell you about [collaborations] for now. But I must confess that I find their company very stimulating. Just recently, I was with some of these boys, including Olamide and Wizkid, at Mo Abudu’s 50th birthday. We were like a family. If any of them I willing to have collaboration with me, they are welcome. I love all of them and that’s why they all call me their father.
Many were stunned with your perfect combination with D’Banj at the last Glo Evergreen Series in Lagos. Did you rehearse that gig or was it happenstance?
To tell you the truth, we never rehearsed that D’Banj’s song, Mobomowonlowo. In fact, I knew little about the song prior to that night. But when he came to meet me behind the stage, we both listened to the song and I told him where I would come in during the performance. We thank God that everything went well that day. But what actually happened that we could not meet to rehearse was that days leading to that event, I was busy with some projects in Abuja, while D’Banj, I learnt, was in South Africa and also came in a few days to the event.
Last year you were part of the first season of Coke Studio Africa but looking at the roll call of artistes involved in the second season this year, your name is missing. What happened?
There is no problem. Last year I was invited to Kenya to be part of the first season of that wonderful project and we all had a wonderful experience. But this new season, maybe the organisers wanted to give other artistes opportunity to share in the experience. You know there are many talented artistes in Africa and they may want to spread the opportunity round. Maybe next time they can still bring me back; you can never tell.
What is your general view of the present state of Nigerian music industry?
Firstly, I thank God that we have been able to make our own brand of music acceptable to our people. Gone are those days when our people showed preference to foreign music; things are changing fast. Also the young musicians themselves have evolved their own styles and no longer copy their foreign counterparts. Most of our musicians are now picking from either Juju or Fuji music to create their individual music style. This means Nigerian musicians are working very hard. Secondly, many parents now allow and support their children to play music, unlike when we started. This shows there is a positive progression in the industry.
What are the challenges running a big band like the Golden Mercury of Africa?
Well, let me explain what a big band is. A big band starts from five. But I have a 50-member band. At every point in time on stage, we have about 23 members plus two engineers, making it 25. Sometimes we could have like five dancers, making 30. We have about 10 roadies, and if we are going to use the stage, the lights and those with the two trucks that we normally use, we would be going to 50. It depends on the venue of our shows. If it is a hall, we have a smaller band. But if you put us outside, like a stadium, we use our complete band. So, I will say it is not easy to move a big band. The economy is not so friendly and this affects us also. I have been so used to a big band and it is very difficult to adjust to something smaller so that it won’t affect the qualities of music that we give to our people.
What about when you travel to play at foreign gigs, do you still travel with such large numbers of band members?
In the 1980s and 1990s, I used to travel abroad with about 27 to 28 members. But now, we have had to cut down the numbers of our band members travelling abroad for shows to below 20.
During some of your musical tours abroad, have you had the experience of some of your band members absconding?
Yes, I have. But I usually tell my band members that if you are travelling with a band to go and perform abroad, and you are planning to escape, if care is not taken you will be a loser. The moment you are there and your visa expires, the police will be after you. And once they catch you, you are deported home. And once you are back home, you can never join the band again. Most of the people who absconded in the past are now home.
Doing what?
I don’t know. I never bother to find out. I have warned most of them before. I told them that it is better to be at home and live with what we get here. There is no place like home. A lot of things that we take for granted here, you can’t try it overseas. We can do a lot of things with the little that we have here. In fact, it pays them more because for a musician like me, once I travel, I play nearly every day except on Monday. It is by God’s grace. The moment promoters abroad are aware that we are coming abroad on tour, they engage us for more shows and that is extra something for them.
What is your take on the sliding relevance of Juju music in Nigeria?
Let me say that it is not only Juju music that is confronted with that challenge but other traditional genres too. I believe generally, Nigerian music industry needs surgery. Nevertheless, there are some challenges facing our genre. Running a band is a very expensive venture. Look at it this way: given the Nigerian economy, how many musicians can afford to buy musical instruments for their bands? It is just few, because to buy a very good guitar will cost you nothing less than N60,000, except you just need an anyhow guitar. Most of the instruments do not come cheap. In fact, most of us rent some of the instruments; and they also don’t come cheap as well. They come in different categories and rental prices range from N500,000 to N1 million.
You are a Juju music maestro but in the global music scene, your brand of music is categorised as ‘World Beats’. Why did you agree to that categorisation?
When I was given that title as the King of World Beats, I did explain this question. When African music started gaining recognition at the international level, it was very difficult for them to categorise our kind of music. And essentially, because of my own music they now created World Beats. They noticed that if there is a Jazz festival, I would be there and perform very well. Rhythm and Blues or Soul concerts, I will be there. At Reggae festival, I will be there. In fact, I was the first Nigerian musician to play at the Reggae Sunsplash. So this sort of confounded them. They initially categorised me into the Cross Over but it didn’t sit well until they came up with World Beats; and World Beats fits well.
As a master guitarist, have you ever been inspired to fashion out your own guitar as many other prominent guitarist the world over do?
Yes, it’s true that I have my own style of playing the guitar. I have my special line. If I place my guitar here and if you are a guitarist, you can’t play it because of the way I tuned it. You have to study it to be able to play it. I have my own special line of guitar. I have my own creation of guitar. That was why some years ago I was recognised as number 68 master guitarist in the whole world.
There was a time you and famous Carlos Santana were described in the same line.
Yes, that is true.
Have you both met?
Yes. We are friends.
Can both of you play each other’s guitar?
If Carlos drops his guitar, I will try my best. If I drop mine, when he picks it he will see how I tuned it. He plays zone on regular and mine is open chord.
Are you planning to work together?
Yes, but he has just been inducted into the Music Hall of Fame and we are still celebrating that achievement. Maybe later we will still get down to think of future collaboration.

I am not party to $9.3m deal-Oritsejafor

Pastor Oritsejafor
Pastor Oritsejafor

The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, ( CAN) Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has said he knew nothing about the controversial $9.3m smuggled into South Africa by two Nigerians and an Israeli, using his private jet.

Oritsejafor broke his silence during the National Executive Council meeting of CAN on Monday at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.
The CAN leader said there had been attempts in the media to link him with the incident by mischievous elements, adding that he had kept quiet all the while, because he needed to explain his position to the church which is his primary constituency.
Oritsekafor, in his address declared that he was never a party to the movement of the $9.3m from Nigeria to South Africa to purchase arms and ammunition.
“I want to assure you that I will not do anything to tarnish the image of Jesus Christ or compromise the divine standard of the church.
“As you are all aware, the media has been awashed in the past few days about an unfortunate incident involving the movement of funds from Nigeria to South Africa. In the unfortunate news reports, attempts have been made to link me directly with the transaction.
“So far I have refrained from making any direct public response pending the time that I would have brief the leaders if the church and explain my position on the issues to them.
“I believe that the primary institution that I owe any explanation to is the church.”
‎Oritsejafor added: “At the risk of being seen to be defending myself, I wish to confirm to the distinguished leaders of the church that the Bombardier Challenger 601 aircraft in question is mine. The aircraft was presented to me as a gift by members of our congregation and ministry partners worldwide at my 40th anniversary of my call into the ministry.
“May I be permitted to stress that the aircraft was not given to me by the President of Nigeria, neither was it a settlement for any political favour or patronage.
“With the benefit of hindsight, the President of the country was a guest in our church during the anniversary celebration when the jet was presented to me.”
The CAN leader who explained that President Jonathan has nothing  to do with the gift of the aircraft challenged those making the allegation t come out to show proof so that the matter can be put to rest once and for all.
Oritsejafor who also explained the circumstances that led to the involvement of his aircraft, said “in order to ameliorate the cost of maintenance of the aircraft, I sought and got permit to allow the aircraft fly in and out of Nigeria.”
“Based on this, I leased the aircraft on August 2, 2014 to a company to run it. It was the leasee that entered into an agreement with the people who carried out the transfer of funds. Having leased the aircraft to the Green Coast Produce Company Limited, any transaction undertaken with the aircraft can no longer be attached to me.
“Inasmuch as I am shocked and distressed by the incident, I wish to appeal to Christians in Nigeria to remember that a war has been waged against the Nigerian church. This war is being fought on many fronts and this unfortunate incident is another dimension in the assault against the church.
“It is clear that those who manipulated this conspiracy desire to create a schism in the church.”
According to him, “the media hype and the deliberate distortion of information that followed it confirmed that forces that desperately desire to cause division and disunity in the church are at work. Even the devil knows that a house that is divided cannot stand.
“As Christians, we need unity in the church now more than ever. We are witnessing inhuman attacks by religious extremists against Christians in the northern part of the country, while christian infrastructure is being destroyed in hundreds.
“If we permit the enemy divide us, our chances of corporate survival shall be severely threatened.
“Distinguished leaders of the church, please permit me to state clearly before God and before all of you here present today, that I am not a party to the movement of $9.3m from Nigeria to South Africa to purchase arms and ammunition. I am not part of the deal. I know nothing about it.”
‎The CAN President commended the Catholic Church for its support, particularly in refuting a distorted news item by mischievous elements in the media.
He appealed to heads of blocks that constitute CAN and head of denominations and Christian leaders at different levels and spheres of influence to use their good offices to caution and control their subordinates and followers from making public statements that will further polarise the church and strengthen the arms of the enemies of the church.
Quoting Matthew Chapter 18 verses 15 to 20, Oritsejafor said, “If I offend you or you offend me, instead of talking to media, let us talk to each other within the house of God.”

“I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said,
‘Lay your hands on the TV’ and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off.”

This Is Why #Girls Cheat Easily

This Is Why Girls Cheat Easily]

Far from what we’ve been made to believe, girls cheat must as much as guys do. After all, guys cheat with girls.
The reasons why girls cheat is confusing because it is very obvious for anyone that cares to know that they are in love with their partners. The question that bugs many people is why most girls find it easy to cheat. Outlined below are some of the reasons why they do.
#1. THEY FALL IN LOVE EASILY:  it is is easy for girls to falling love with anyone that showers them with so much attention and quickly too. One of the reasons a girl will have sex is that she loves the guy. She would cheat with him just because she feels she loves him.
#2. THEY ARE CONFUSED ABOUT THEIR EMOTIONS: girls would cheat because they are not sure about their feelings. It’s like they don’t want to cheat, at the same time they are confused about what they are feeling for their men. When a girl is confused about her emotions, it is very easy to cheat with another guy.
#3. THEY DO IT FOR THE FUN: girls love drama and can almost never live without it. When they feel like their love life getting boring, they may cheat for the excitement. The thought of danger is one of the reasons girls would sleep with a guy.
#4. THEY CHEAT TO GET BACK AT THEIR MEN: this is one of the reasons why many girls would cheat on their men. She has probably caught him cheating or heard tales of him sleeping around. In order to get even with him, she would cheat.
#5. SHE HAS CRAVINGS: if a guy keeps ignoring his girl and lets another man shower with the attention he is supposed to be giving, he is only pushing her into the arms of another man. Girls have sexual needs too, they get horny like men and so need to be sexually satisfied. If she is not tapping it from you, she will tap it somewhere else.
#6. SHE IS A GOLD DIGGER:  not all girls are gold diggers but a girl who likes money and the things money can get for her more than she likes her man will easily jump to another bed if he has more to offer.
#7. SHE DOES IT FOR THE DUMBEST REASONS: well, girls also cheat for the silliest reasons like she was dared by her friends, to prove a point that she could be adventurous or to get your attention. She is cheating, not for herself but for other people. She may not even enjoy it.
#8. SHE IS EMOTIONALLY VULNERABLE: when a girl is depressed and emotionally down, it is easy for her to sleep with another person. Whoever gives her the attention she wants at that moment may easily get her to sleep with him.
#9. SHE’S NO LONGER SEXUALLY ATTRACTED TO HER MAN: when there is no sexual intimacy between a couple, it is very easy for the woman to wander away from him and go with the next man she feels sexually connected with.
In all, women enjoy attention and will easily cheat with someone that can not only get their attention but hold their attention. She may love her man so much but as soon as another man starts showering her with more love and care, she will easily be drawn away; especially if she is not received that kind of attention from her man; although this is true for some women and not all. There are women who will stick with their men no matter what.
Bottom line is love your woman as she deserves and you have a loyal woman in your arms.

Naija Smartphonomics: The Economics Of Buying A Smart Phone In Nigeria #Nairaland

The Nigerian telephone market has come a long way. From the era of “Poor people don’t need telephones” to the present “everyone deserves a smart phone” era.

Mobile phones with operating systems like BB OS, iOS, Windows Phone and SYMBIAN were off the range for most low income earners; but along came Android OS and the smart phone market was liberated and became proliferated. Low income and minimum wage earners are now proud owners of low ‘low-budget’ smart phones that work.
Despite this liberation and proliferation, buying a low-budget phone is not easy as it seems, as many potential smart phone buyers find themselves in a dilemma of which smart phones to buy. It is not uncommon to see posts on internet forums (like Nairaland.com) eliciting suggestions from members on which phone to purchase with a particular income range or to help choose between two alternatives.

The purpose of this piece is to highlight some factors to consider when buying a smart phone. These factors are listed below.

1. Your Salary: The first thing to consider when buying a smart phone is your income. If you have only one source of income and your salary isn’t six figures, then please remove your eyes from the top shelves and look at middles shelves, thank you. You shouldn’t save up to buy a smart phone. Look at it objectively, if your salary is N20,000 for example, how much and how long can you save to buy the infinix zero (N20,900) or Innjoo i1s (N14,000). There are better things to save up for than a device that can be damaged at first charge, first touch or first hello. If you can’t buy a smart phone out rightly, then it’s out of your range. In such an situation, it’s time to look at the bottom of the shelf for phones like the MTN Sm@rt phones (N8,000 or N10,000) or you buy a fairly used device.

2. Your Lifestyle: I consider it economic recklessness to carry a smart of N50,000 in your pocket while struggling for a bus of N50 at iyana Ipaja, Lagos or buying an iPhone 6 and charging it with an “I pass my neighbour” electric generating set? If your smart phone doesn’t correlate with you lifestyle, people might be force to ask you; “who died?” when it is stolen, misplaced or damaged beyond repair.

3. Degree of carefulness: The capacitive touch screen of a smart phone is its Achilles. So if you aren’t exactly the careful type, then you’re better off buying a phone with corning glass screen technology and those don’t come cheap. It is not economic to buy a phone that cost 1/3 of the price to fix a damaged screen. Secondly, if you’re prone to losing your phone in buses (sliding out your pocket etc), then be economic about your purchase or invest in a small sling bag to carry your phones in.

4. Your Residential area: Is your residential area safe or is the ‘waylayability’ very high? Carrying a high budget phone in an area prone to mugging isn’t economic. An acquaintance recently got a nice 5.0 display android phone and was “feeling” the phone on his street one evening. The next thing he saw were bright stars and “plenty plenty” shadows running away. When his sight was restored, his phone was gone. That reminds me; please keep your phones out of sight when commuting in commercial buses especially if you’re sitting by the window.

There you have it, the Economics of buying a smart phone in Nigeria. And oh, what smart phone do i use? My baby is a Tecno P5.

#BEST 20 SELFIES CAPTURED AMAZINGLY #selfie

After 3 years now, Wikipedia and the photographer David Slater have a controversy over this selfie in which the photographer claims that he is the owner of the selfie but wikipedia has rejected to remove the selfie due to selfie took by animal not the photographer.
